Up From The South (OverWorks / Siren Craft Brew Co., UK)
Sour ale aged in red and white wine barrels with Scottish blackberries and Italian sage. A good balanced fruity saur that tastes like a good lambic with blackberries, or a wine made from sour cherries. Brewed in conjunction with the British brewery Siren Craft Brew Co.
Appearance: beautiful ruby ββcolor with fluffy pinkish foam.
Aroma: red currants, blackberries, sour cherries and a very slight hint of herb and farm tones.
Taste: the first to appear are kitchen herbs, which are quickly washed off with sour cherry juice, and then the taste goes into complex wine-barrel, even Flemish shades. and a long woody finish with tannins around the cherry pits.
