Geseria Mort Subite was founded in 1869 and for a long time enjoyed immense popularity among fans of sour beer, until at the beginning of the twenty-first century it was overbought by pival giants. Today, the brewery represents rather adapted lambics for the masses, but still retains several traditional varieties and status on the HORAL council.
