TRABANCO (Spain)

Trabanco cider is represented by a wide range of Spanish low alcohol drinks.  The brand belongs to the family business with the “speaking” name Sidra Trabanco, founded in 1925 by the Trabanco family in the autonomous province of Asturias on the northern coast of Spain.  Emilio Trabanco - one of the creators - thus made his dream come true.  For a long time he was fond of cider making at home and treated not only his family to drinks of his own making, but also all the neighbors in the district, and one day he decided to turn his hobby into a lifelong business.  After Emilio's retirement, his children took over the management of the company, including the modernization of equipment and technological processes.  Vincent Trabanco was the first in the region to dispense cut cider after fermentation.

In 1987, the creator's grandson, Samuel, opened a plant with modern equipment, where production moved, and in 2010 the company itself moved to a new office located near the beverage plant.  Since its inception, Trabanco cider has been made from apples harvested from the Spanish family's own orchards.  Alcohol is created from the fruits of bitter and sour varieties without added sugar.  Thanks to its natural composition and original recipe, it exhibits a fresh bouquet with expressive tones of ripe apple and light nuances of dried rose petals.  The dry taste is characterized by crunchy apple acidity, and the aftertaste clearly shows juicy citrus motives.  Chilled to 12-14 degrees Trabanco cider perfectly refreshes.  Smoked meats, cheese platter, meat and fish dishes will be a gastronomic couple.  Alcohol is supplied in 0.33 l, 0.7 l and 0.75 l formats, suitable both for a picnic in nature and for a festive feast.
